After driving around the city of Seoul searching for where to buy heathy products, it's time to do a little slow-paced shopping from home! In today's world, it's possible to kick back on the couch and allow the click of a computer button to bring the food to us! In Seoul, I've heard about quite a few online, healthy options for buying food, which can be delivered to your doorstep. I do intend to explore these sites more, but for now I've only tried one online food store and that is iHerb.com, a well-known online store that specializes in selling natural products. It is home-based in the U.S.A., but ships domestically and internationally. I made my first order about a month ago, and it was not too long before my precious, little delivery came to me all the way here in South Korea.
Check out my new iHerb products that I am trying out pictured above! You will see Better Stevia, which is a natural sweetener that contains pure Stevia extract. It can be used in beverages and foods that you want to make sweet! Also featured in the picture is Dandy Blend, which is an instant herbal beverage with Dandelion. I am excited about this product because it is actually an alternative to coffee. I do love a nice cup of Joe, but for me, the caffeine in coffee can get quite addicting (which leads into a whole different blog post I'm not writing about right now!). This caffeine free, beneficial alternative promises no withdrawal symptoms when deciding to give up the habit of drinking coffee everyday. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm giving up coffee and selling out to Dandy Blend for life, but I do hope to drink it often with the hopes of cutting back on the unnecessary excess of caffeine from too many cups of coffee. A big thank you to my good friends, Gretchen and Brooke, for recommending these items to me. Last, but not least, COCONUT OIL is pictured above! Coconut oil is abundant on iHerb.com. Check out all the different brands and prices they offer!
So there you have it! My first experience with buying online food is complete! I did not showcase it in the picture, but Shawn also was excited to buy a few products with my shipment as well. He received protein bars and protein powder, two items that are not easily accessible or cheap for us here in Seoul. Shopping iHerb.com is affordable for those "special"products and you will be surprised to find out how little or next to nothing the shipping cost is! Not to mention, how fun it is to receive a package in the mail (especially when you are living overseas!) Like a friend said the other day, it's like Christmas when you receive an iHerb box in the mail! So, go ahead check out what iHerb.com has to offer, perhaps you can find items on your wish list or maybe it's time to check out some new natural products, like Dandy Blend (pictured below), that could change your life for the better!
